Changing your mind

For most online goods purchases, you have 14 days to tell us you wish to cancel, without giving a reason. The period expires 14 days after you (or a nominated person other than the carrier) receive the goods; for a single order delivered separately, it runs from receipt of the last item. You can also cancel before delivery. Send a clear statement by email or post using the contact details above. You do not have to use the form below.

After telling us you are cancelling, return the goods without undue delay and within a further 14 days. For a change-of-mind return you pay the direct cost of returning the goods. Pack them securely. You may inspect them as you would in a shop; a lawful deduction may be made for loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Your refund

We refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option for a cancelled order. Extra costs for a delivery upgrade are not refundable. Where the original UK delivery was free, there is no original delivery charge to refund. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

We refund without undue delay, no later than 14 days after being informed of cancellation. For goods, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier, unless we offered to collect them. If you cancel before dispatch, there are no goods to return.

Sealed recordings & software

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software if they are unsealed after delivery. This is not a blanket restriction on used or already-unsealed CDs, records or cassettes. Any applicable exception must be clear before purchase. Your rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

Faulty or misdescribed goods

Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, taking account of their age, price and disclosed condition. Pre-owned items are not excluded from these rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you generally have a 30-day short-term right to reject non-conforming goods. Later remedies may include repair or replacement and, where the statutory conditions are met, a price reduction or final rejection. We bear reasonable return costs for faulty or misdescribed goods. Contact us with the order reference and issue; photographs can help but are not a condition of exercising your legal rights.
